Meet lawn and sod professional John Linder from Delta Blue Grass Company. John will tell you the best options for your yard and help solve any nagging problems in your lawn.

10:00 a.m | “Eat Fresh for Less”
Friend of the nursery and all-around plant know-it-all Amy Lomeli will be here to lead a Q&A session. She will give you valuable tips to design your vegetable garden including seasonal flowers and fruit trees. As a manager of a farmer’s market garden, Amy holds a degree in agriculture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. These tips and tricks on preparation, plant selection, care and more will have you all ears as you prepare to be the coolest cucumber on the block with a plethora of produce this summer. After the seminar, please join Amy and the team, as we’ll be planting our vegetable garden and we need your help!

11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. | “Critters and Kids”
The wonderful people from Cruzin Critters “Wisdom thru Wildlife” will bring a collection of exotic animals that they have rescued. Do you know the difference from a Rabbit and a Chinchilla? Or a Gecko from an Iguana? Please be seated 15 minutes before, and children must be accompanied by an adult.

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. | “Art in the Garden”
This is a free make-and-take event! Plan to get your hands dirty and have some fun. This open-air art studio will be located in the shade house, just beyond the succulent shopping area.
